Beth Collins has a 20-year executive leadership career with global experience in corporate, non-profit and NGO sectors throughout Africa, South East Asia and other emerging market regions. After many years in the private sector, she was hired to start and run one of the Clinton Foundation’s first (of three) country offices in Africa where she designed and implemented comprehensive health and agriculture programs. In that role, Beth worked very closely with the Rwandan Ministry of Health, Dr. Paul Farmer and his Partners In Health team to create and implement a model for comprehensive health care solutions that has since been adopted as the Rwandan government’s rural standard of care. Upon returning to the US, Beth was a member of the Clinton Foundation management team charged with structuring and rolling out new global strategies for the Foundation’s HIV/AIDS Initiative. Prior to joining the Clinton Foundation, Beth had worked for over 15 years in the private sector, providing operations, strategic and financial leadership to media and entertainment groups, including the Walt Disney Company and Universal Pictures. She has extensive experience in management, strategic planning, budget oversight and fundraising. Beth’s decision to transition from the private to the public sector in 2002 enabled her to apply her business acumen to support the rights of the world’s poorest. Beth holds a B.A. in International Studies from Miami University and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
