Miki Jacevic is a human rights activist and peace program specialist from Sarajevo, Bosnia Hercegovina. He has worked extensively on issues of peace building, conflict resolution, human rights, and youth activism and leadership. Miki is currently the director of training and advocacy at the Initiative for Inclusive Security. In this capacity, he oversees policy efforts aimed at including civil society representatives, especially women, in peace processes. He also directs the Bosnia program at Global Youth Connect. That program hosts a month-long conflict resolution study tour of the Balkans, focusing on issues of transitional justice and reconciliation. Miki often consults with conflict resolution organizations, including Search for Common Ground, where he led efforts to develop child soldiers programs. He has served on the Board of Directors of several organizations, including the Karuna Center for Peace building, Global Youth Action, Sustaining the Soul that Serves, the State of the World Forum. Miki is married to Guatemalan human rights activist Eva Morales, and they live with their two children in the Washington, DC area.
